Submissions

Author Guidelines

We welcome submissions of original, previously unpublished research papers, review papers and case studies demonstrating clear contributions to engineering simulation. Submissions should emphasise the practical applications of engineering simulation techniques.

Manuscripts should consist of 20 pages (A4) maximum.

When submitted, manuscripts are initially reviewed by the Editorial Team. If the manuscript matches the Journal's scope and meets all requirements, it will undergo a single-blind peer review. Reviewers evaluate the manuscripts based on their technical quality, clarity, commercialism, formatting and language, relevance, and originality.

Articles will be available in the Journal's next issue if accepted.

Publication Fee

• For manuscripts linked to your presentation at a qualifying NAFEMS Event – Free*

• For manuscripts submitted by a NAFEMS Member – Free*

• For all other submissions – £440 GBP (approx. 500 EUR / 550 USD)*

*Final pricing will be calculated based on the GBP amount using the exchange rate on the day of purchase. Pricing may be adjusted at NAFEMS’ discretion. The publishing fee is to be paid after the article has been accepted for publishing.

Editing Service

NAFEMS offers an optional language editing service that can help showcase the author's work in the best light possible. The fee for this service is 300 GBP, which only needs to be paid after the article has been accepted for publishing.
